Sade (Group w/ singer of same performance name)

Formed out of the ashes of jazz group Pride, this band had critical and commercial success with the album Diamond Life and several singles. From 1984, the record deal was solely in the name of Helen Folasade Adu, the charismatic singer, but her backing band remained intact for several releases.
