EMI Angel (“EMI” name above an angel sitting on a disc, at times with the word “Angel” below)

this is a terribly confusing label to identify. there are several logo variations, all of which feature the angel motif that's identified with Angel Records, which may or may not be the same imprint:
1. the "EMI" name above an angel sitting on a disc, the logo as seen on the back cover and medium here.
2. EMI Angel : the "EMI" name above an angel sitting on a disc, with the word "Angel" below (which probably best describes this label and can be seen here)
3. EMI Digital* : the "EMI" name above an angel sitting on a disc, with the word "DIGITAL" below
4. EMI Angel Digital : the "EMI" name above an angel sitting on a disc, with the words "Angel" and "DIGITAL" below – bottom image here (under Angel Records)
5. EMI Angel Studio : the "EMI" name above an angel sitting on a disc, with the words "Angel Studio" below
6. EMI Studio Digital : the "EMI" and "STUDIO" above an angel sitting on a disc, with the word "DIGITAL" below – discogs
7. EMI Studio DRM : the "EMI" and "STUDIO" above an angel sitting on a disc, with the word "DRM" below – discogs

* note: there is an EMI Digital label unrelated to the Angel series whose logo features a sinewave inside a circle superimposed on an "M", with the name "EMI DIGITAL" printed in an LCD font along the second half of the wave.

over at discogs, this label does not exist, but instead is grouped under Angel Records. the various imprint variants incorporating the EMI branding represent the later iterations of the Angel label after it had been acquired by EMI.
