Lion Music's CD has the following simple numbering scheme:

  • Catalog number: LMfnnn, where:
    • f is format specifier: C for CD, DVD for DVD
    • nnn is a sequential release number
  • Barcode format: 6419922nnnnnc, where:
    • 641 is a GS1 code of Finland
    • 9922 is organization code for Lion Music
    • nnnnn is sequential release number, 5 digits, zero-padded from the left
    • c is a mandatory barcode checksum digit

Thus, technically, it's possible to guess barcode numbers knowing just sequential release number.
