This is not a recording made by Fats Waller himself. Rather, 14 original piano rolls cut by Waller were used to drive an organ, and the resulting sound was then recorded for this CD release.

The CD re-release does not contain a useful date (only the LP copyright date of 1981 is listed), but it was released no later than 1988, if a Amazon.com review of this release can be relied upon.
