Cosmic Thing

Cosmic Thing is what happens when art-school weirdos accidentally make a perfect pop record. The B-52’s didn’t sand down their edges — they just cranked up the hooks. “Love Shack” and “Roam” are untouchable, full stop, but even the deep cuts keep the momentum moving. It’s bright, goofy, and a little ridiculous, but there’s real heart under the neon. Not every track hits the same level, but the highs are massive and the whole thing feels alive. Weird band. Big record. Still fun as hell.
